Mary Beth Henry Biography
Mary Beth Henry is the Deputy Director of the Office of Cable Communications and Franchise Management for the City of Portland, Oregon and the Mt. Hood Cable Regulatory Commission.
She also serves as Immediate Past President of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (www.natoa.org), a member of the Oregon Broadband Advisory Council and on the League of Oregon Cities Broadband Standing Committee.
Over the last twenty years she has focused her attention on legislative and policy issues related to broadband communications, maintaining local authority and digital inclusion. She has been deeply involved in local government efforts to protect the public interest as legislative efforts on communications policy move at the State and federal level.
In her spare time she enjoys exploring the wonders of Oregon with her husband of 30 years and her two boys, who insist on growing up despite her best efforts to keep them young.
