NATOA Files Comments in Two FCC Proceedings
On June 1, NATOA filed comments in two FCC proceedings. In the Broadcast Localism proceeding (MB Docket No. 04-233), NATOA argued in favor of several proposals that are aimed at improving broadcast localism and diversity, including the use of local advisory boards. And in the 911/Non-Initialized Phones proceeding (PS Docket No. 08-51), NATOA asserted that the Commission should first develop a complete record before taking any actions that may limit the use of such phones by at-risk populations.
