NATOA Files Comments with FCC on the Relationship Between Broadband and Economic Opportunity
On Friday, NATOA, along with the Benton Foundation and the New America
Foundation’s Open Technology Initiative, filed comments in response to National
Broadband Plan Public Notice # 18. The comments cited numerous examples
of local broadband initiatives spurring economic development, including NATOA’s
Community Broadband Fiber Network of the Year in 2009 –
