NATOA Congratulates Tony Perez on Reappointment to Re-Chartered FCC Diversity Committee
March 13, 2013 10:13 AMFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — March 13, 2013 — The National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) congratulates Tony Perez, NATOA’s President-Elect and Director of the Office of Cable Communications, Department of Information Technology for the City of Seattle, WA on his reappointment to the FCC’s re-chartered Federal Advisory Committee on Diversity for Communications in the Digital Age (“Diversity Committee”). The Committee advises the FCC regarding policies and practices that will enhance diversity in telecommunications and related industries.
The first Diversity Committee meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2013, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at FCC Headquarters and is open to the general public. Click here for more information about the Committee and any upcoming meetings.
