Jasmine White is the Executive Director of Capital Community Media, the Public, Education and Government broadcast channels in Salem OR. In public access, Jasmine worked for Montgomery Community Media and DCTV (The Public Access Corporation of DC), where she managed Production Services, Creative Services, DCTV’s Youth Training Institute, spearheaded both organization’s media education programs, and managed membership and outreach initiatives with individual members, nonprofits and organization partners.
As an independent producer, Jasmine has created content about food injustices, voting rights, and social justice-oriented programming. Jasmine formerly served on the Alliance for Community Media’s Board of Directors as the Equal Opportunity Chair, and later Vice Chair of the Equal Opportunity Caucus (now Inclusion, Equity and Engagement Caucus). In 2019, Jasmine rejoined the national ACM Board as an At-Large member, and is serving as Parliamentarian and Chair of the Membership and Outreach Committee.
