Wage: $54,267.20 – $70,262.40 (starting wage contingent upon experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job summary: Under general direction, schedules programming to play on City Channel 4, manages live and archived digital media on the City’s website and YouTube channel. Supports web publishing needs and platform integrations and performs website maintenance. Assists with projects involving communications technology that supports City-wide transparency and public access. Maintains and supports media technology systems including video servers, media storage, playback automation, streaming software and related network connections.
Minimum Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other: Associate’s degree from an accredited educational institution and one year of related experience; or three years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree or coursework in digital media, information technology, communications technology or a related field. Demonstrated experience with mySQL databases, HTML and CSS. Coding experience using PERL and JavaScript. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure, Other: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution; or four years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with media and streaming systems operation, graphic arts, web design, digital video, drone video and photography, Apple computer systems or related. FAA Remote Pilot License.
