Representative Eshoo Thanks NATOA

Representative Anna Eshoo (CA-18) has recognized and thanked NATOA for our support of her legislation, the Community Broadband Act (H.R. 1631), which would prohibit state laws that ban or limit broadband systems administered by municipalities, co-ops, or public-private partnerships.  We wholeheartedly agree with Rep. Eshoo that “[t]he internet is an absolutely vital resource today, but unfortunately far too many communities lack access to this critical service.”  NATOA is proud to have endorsed the Community Broadband Act and appreciates Rep. Eshoo’s acknowledgement that our support “enhances our efforts to ensure that local communities can invest in their own infrastructure when private investment is insufficient.”
