Professional Bio
James Wiley is the Deputy Chief of the Federal Communications Commission’s Public Safety & Homeland Security Bureau, Cybersecurity and Communications Reliability Division. His portfolio includes network reliability, cybersecurity, 911, and emergency alerting issues. James joined the FCC as an Honors Attorney in 2013. Prior to his employment with the FCC, James received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania where he was elected President of the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly. James received his B.A. from Tufts University where he played Offensive Tackle for the Tufts University Jumbos. He lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his loving wife, Abigail, and is blessed with two children, Isaac and Micah.
