Jay Runte

Jay Runte is the Broadband and Telecommunications Program Manager for the City of Eugene, Oregon, overseeing franchising, tax and fee remittance, public rights-of-way regulation, broadband deployment, and digital equity initiatives. Previously Jay managed Eugene’s $35 million American Rescue Plan Act program and has extensive experience in conservation education and executive leadership with Northwest Youth Corps and the U.S. Forest Service.
