Digital Equity Manager, City & County of San Francisco
Reymon “Rey” LaChaux is a values-driven public sector leader, strategist, and community connector committed to bridging the digital divide through innovation, equity, and cross-sector collaboration. He currently serves as the Digital Equity Manager for the City & County of San Francisco, where he leads citywide initiatives focused on broadband access, device distribution, and digital literacy for underserved communities.
Rey brings a deep background in inclusive economic development, community engagement, and digital inclusion strategy. He plays a key role in shaping San Francisco’s Digital Equity Strategic Plan, overseeing multi-agency partnerships, and managing grant-funded programs like the Digital Connections Initiative and the Fiber-to-Housing program.
A passionate advocate for legacy-building and empowerment, Rey’s work is rooted in the belief that digital equity is a civil right and a foundation for opportunity in the 21st century. He is also a member of 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, a mentor, and a serial entrepreneur focused on generational wealth and social impact.
