FREE WEBINAR: How Preemption Impacts Local Governments, the Rights-of-Way and the Public Interest – New Report from NATOA

We know that the FCC’s Small Cell Order, along with other preemptions, directly affected local government operations. How has that played out on the ground? And how can we tell that story to policymakers? Last year, NATOA worked with Communications Workers of America to conduct a survey of the impacts that FCC preemptions have had on local governments, particularly around small wireless facilities.  A new report on the results, which we will review on this free webinar, shows that preemptions have negatively impacted local governments—their staff, budgets and infrastructure—as well as worker and public safety, and the overall public good.  Join us to learn more about the survey report and hear real-world experiences and advice to address these impacts.
