Membership Committee Accomplishments

Between October 1, 2025, through January 14, 2026, renewals were four fewer than those during the same period in 24-25. Nevertheless, the organization experienced an increase in revenue, attributed to a higher average dues per renewal.
Between January and March 2026, the committee undertook research and executed targeted outreach to approximately 320 former non-member conference attendees, extending a 25% discount offer.
Supported by HQ, the committee developed a flyer that was distributed across social media channels, email, and at conferences.
Before concluding 2026 outreach, the committee collaborated with Board Members and former Committee members to facilitate outreach efforts directed toward non-renewals and/or potential new agencies within their respective regions including Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Maryland, and Virgina.

The committee met monthly throughout the last year to come up with ideas and incentives for membership renewals and additions.

The membership committee (in cooperation with our NATOA Board and Chapter Presidents) conducted extensive outreach to all non-renewing members in early 2025 to try to recover those non-renewing members with a high level of success.

We coordinated efforts with the NATOA office to offer incentives for joining or rejoining.

In addition, our Membership Committee conducted and facilitated the annual first-time attendee’s reception at the Annual Conference in 2024 in Charleston, which had great reviews.

The NATOA Membership Committee budget goal was achieved for the second year in a row, so a big thank you to our committee members for their efforts to conduct outreach so willingly.
