Scott Evans

Scott Evans graduated from Ohio University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Video Production. He worked for various production companies before joining ACTV (City of Allen, Texas) in 2007—so his government video producing career is now old enough to watch R-rated movies, but not quite old enough to vote.

Scott wears all the producer hats: writing, shooting, editing… along with the uncanny ability to tell dad jokes at staff meetings, stay awake during live meeting broadcasts, and elevate morale through the strategic deployment of animated GIFs in Microsoft Teams.

During his time at ACTV, he’s produced a wide range of content—PSAs, promos, music videos, documentaries, and the ever-popular “event coverage.” He’s been nominated for and won countless regional Emmys, NATOA and TATOA awards (Okay, he could count them, but he's got other things to do right now.)
Unlike most people, in his free time Scott enjoys watching movies, listening to music, eating food, playing with his dogs, and spending time with his family.
