Multimedia Designer - County of San Diego, CA
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be creative and versatile, with experience in a variety of visual communications mediums including video, audio, photography, graphics, animation and web. The candidate will have enthusiasm for providing citizens and colleagues an excellent customer experience and be committed to continuously developing new and innovative ways to produce content to inform the public. In addition, the ideal candidate will have the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment among multiple projects to execute production demands efficiently. Excellent computer and presentation skills are also desired.
The ideal candidate’s skills will include a broad variety of the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience in video production in the field and for television production including lighting, audio and camera use
- Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience in video editing software, including Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience shooting with DSLR video cameras
- Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience in motion graphics
- Demonstrated knowledge and prior experience in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
- Experience creating social media content for professional purposes
- Experience creating digital and print graphics
- Basic understanding of web analytics
- Experience working with a CMS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EVALUATION
Qualified applicants will be placed on a nine (9) month eligible list based on scores received during the evaluation of information contained in their employment and supplemental applications.
