Position Overview
TelVue seeks a dynamic, knowledgeable New England Community Media Sales Representative to champion outreach and sales in the region. The ideal candidate will be based in Massachusetts (otherwise the New England region - MA, NH, VT, ME, RI, CT, Upstate NY), possess deep familiarity with community access television organizations and the broadcast industry generally, thrive on building relationships, and excel at solution-based sales. This role offers growth, autonomy, and the opportunity to impact local media directly. The position is a work-from-home office opportunity, with primarily regional travel for customer and prospect visits and events.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Relationship Building:
- Cultivate relationships with Public, Educational, Government access TV organizations, local governments, community broadcasters, and stakeholders across New England.
- Attend key regional & national tradeshows, events and association meetings as required.
- Monitor industry and regional trends via newsletters, social media, and email groups.
- Serve as TelVue’s primary face in New England.
Client Engagement & Demonstrations:
- Conduct compelling on-site and virtual product demonstrations tailored to each client’s workflows. Develop related presentation material.
- Highlight TelVue solutions for streamlining broadcast operations, saving time, increasing viewership, improving accessibility, and monetizing for new sources of revenue.
Sales Process Management:
- Manage multiple prospects: lead generation, outreach, demo scheduling, customized proposals, and diligent follow-up.
- Assist in marketing and lead generation including contributing customer case study write-ups.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM for accurate tracking, communications, and opportunity management.
- Create and maintain outreach templates for new clients, upgrades, and feature education.
- Familiarity with Google document applications, Slack, Trello, Excel and other business collaboration tools.
- Set clear, realistic client expectations about product capabilities.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Partner with sales, marketing, development and support for seamless client support.
- Share market intelligence and feedback to drive innovation and product enhancements. Professional Qualities

Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of community access TV workflows, operations, and industry challenges.
- Proven sales track record in broadcast, media technology, or public access TV environment.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (training available).
- Willing and able to travel extensively within New England and periodically in upstate New York.
- Experience with TelVue or similar broadcast products, social media video platforms including YouTube, streaming, video editing, live production, a plus.
