Senate Commerce Committee votes to approve Gomez, Carr and Stark to the FCC

Today, the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation approved nominations for 3 Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioners, the FCC Inspector General, a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board and Coast Guard promotions.

Approved:

• Anna Gomez to be a Commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission (PN673)
• Geoffrey Starks to be a Commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission (PN674)
• Brendan Carr to be a Commissioner on the Federal Communications Commission (PN672)  
• Fara Damelin to be Inspector General of the Federal Communications Commission (PN441)  
• Alvin Brown to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board (PN114)
• Coast Guard Promotions (PN667)
